Mobuzz Update

It is with deep regret that we inform our friends and fans that MobuzzTV has closed officially today. We need to take some time to see how best to reorganise our project. We have been talking with many interested parties but unfortunately we have not been able to financially sustain our operations until the agreements were closed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have donated to save Mobuzz, and let you know that as we shall not be continuing we will be returning all the donations to you.

Quem vir os meus últimos posts até pode pensar que eu não acredito na Internet como negócio. Acredito. Mas só naqueles que têm um bom modelo de negócio, e não naqueles que aparecem para serem apenas comprados pelos grandes.

Technorati Lays Off Six, Cuts Pay For Rest

Technorati just announced on its official blog that the company has decided to lay off six employees as the result of generally poor economic conditions. Management is also taking a 10-15% pay cut, while all other surviving employees are getting their paychecks cut down by 10%.

E de certeza que isto já aconteceu com muitas outras que não sabemos.

Claro que nem todas serão tão afectadas, mas sempre me perguntei com é que existiam algumas empresas/serviços/sites que sobreviviam.
